CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – It has been a dozen years and three government mandates since the province of P.E.I. last did a comprehensive review of the Employment Standards Act, and the P.E.I. Working Group for a Liveable Income says it’s time for that review.
The group is hosting a media conference on Tuesday morning calling on government to initiate a full-scale review of employment standards in the province.
The Employment Standards Act sets minimum workplace standards for non-unionized workers.
